Recently, a reporter visited the production workshop of Ji'an Dahé Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The automated production lines were running at high speed, and workers were performing their tasks efficiently and in an orderly manner at critical posts—everywhere exuding vibrant production energy. Behind this vivid scene lies a true reflection of our county’s implementation of policies supporting enterprises’ digital transformation and its efforts to help businesses enhance quality and boost efficiency.

“In January of this year, the company’s order volume increased by more than 15% year-on-year, and the order value for January alone exceeded 15 million yuan. Among these orders, those for air-conditioning systems for new-energy vehicles supplied to BYD are being expedited at full speed to ensure timely delivery,” said Song Yi, the company’s deputy general manager, in an interview with reporters. As a core supplier to well-known automakers such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and BYD, Dahé Machinery has been deeply engaged in the manufacturing of automotive parts and components for many years and has long established a solid foothold in the market thanks to its exceptional product quality. Particularly amid the rising tide of domestically produced new-energy vehicles, the company has precisely seized industry opportunities, proactively forging deep partnerships with leading automakers like BYD and Xiaomi. It is focusing on the R&D and production of key components such as brake discs, integrated valve bodies, and ball joint housings. Its products currently cover more than eight mainstream vehicle models, and it is simultaneously developing four or five new products, continuously strengthening its market competitiveness.

“We’ve been able to achieve such impressive results thanks both to the company’s firm commitment and continuous investment in the ‘intelligent manufacturing’ transformation, and—crucially—to the government’s ongoing policy support and comprehensive service guarantees,” said Song Yi. Since 2024, the company has cumulatively invested nearly 5 million yuan in digital transformation, building a “digital foundation” powered by 5G and industrial smart devices. This foundation connects key production equipment and simultaneously deploys multiple specialized management software systems, creating an integrated digital platform that covers the entire “production, supply, and sales” chain, steadily enabling the company to make the transition from “manufacturing” to “intelligent manufacturing.”

A series of targeted investments has yielded abundant results in our digital transformation. Today, Dahé Machinery has successfully obtained prestigious certifications such as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s 5G Factory designation and Jiangxi Province’s Level L7 certification for manufacturing digitalization. The tangible benefits of this transformation are evident throughout every aspect of our production and operations: handheld PAD-based paperless work reporting has reduced manual data entry time by 80%, boosting per capita productivity by 25% per shift; the order delivery cycle has been shortened from 35 days to 28 days, significantly accelerating our customer response times; annual quality losses and downtime losses have each been reduced by 1 million yuan, while energy consumption per unit product has dropped by 12%, resulting in annual power savings of 500,000 kilowatt-hours. We’ve achieved multiple breakthroughs—improving product quality, enhancing operational efficiency, and cutting costs—all at once.

“In the new year, we will continue to deepen our efforts in upgrading smart manufacturing, leveraging our role as a benchmark leader to drive collaborative development across the upstream and downstream segments of the industrial chain,” said Song Yi.
